Lifelong learning is a vital component of healthcare, providing medical practitioners with exceptional knowledge. We encourage professionals to constantly upgrade their skills and learn from high-caliber experts; therefore, between 21st and 22nd of October, we have actively participated in the 2nd Masterclass of Urology organized by CLERU (Laparoscopy, Endoscopy and Urological Robotics Club) at Medicover Hospital Cluj-Napoca, Romania.
Apart from the usual robotic surgery test drives, we had the tremendous opportunity to watch new live surgery cases and understand the technological advancements of daVinci Xi. The first day of the masterclass started with a robotic assisted partial nephrectomy, led by Prof. Dr. Thomas Bschleipfer and Conf. Dr. Bogdan Petruţ, followed by a robotic assisted radical prostatectomy, where Prof. Dr. Fabrizio Dal Moro, Prof. Dr. Giacomo Novara, and Conf. Dr. Bogdan Petruţ were invited to discuss the rehabilitation process after radical prostatectomy.
The second day of the masterclass resumed on robotic assisted pyeloplasty and nephrectomy, interventions conducted by distinguished Conf. Dr. Petruţ, Prof. Dr. Nicolae Crişan, and Prof. Dr. Ioan Coman. Once again, we are honored to have engaged with international medical experts, joining our forces to provide an outstanding live surgery experience. Together we keep on growing and expanding our knowledge!
