We are excited every time we see the increasing interest in robotic surgery that the Hungarian healthcare system shows. This time we could notice it during the event “XII. Minimally Invasive procedures in Urology”, organized by Jahn Ferenc Hospital in partnership with our Team.
Prof. Peter Tenke has been the main organizer of this prestigious event for 12 years and for the first time in history, the focus of the event was Robotic Surgery. Hungarian robotic surgeons were able to share their own experiences in their native language with their colleagues.
Six robotic live cases were performed by Prof. Peter Tenke, Dr. János Szabó, and Dr Kiarash Bahrehmand along with 4 international robotic surgeons, in two different locations, the National Institute of Oncology and Jahn Ferenc Hospital. The event was broadcasted in 3D to an auditorium with more than 120 participants.
