Sofmedica Croatia participated as a sponsor at the “Future is Now – AI and Robotics in Finance and Healthcare conference” , held on November 4th, 2025, in Zagreb, bringing together leading experts in artificial intelligence, digital transformation, and medical robotics.

In the thematic block “Robotics in Healthcare,” Sofmedica supported the participation of four surgeons from University Hospital Centre Zagreb (KBC Zagreb), who presented their experience in applying advanced technologies in surgery:

Dr. Goran Madžarac and Dr. Dorian Hiršl, cardiothoracic surgeons, delivered the presentation “Training Process for the Robotic Team – Future is Now,”

Dr. Petar Matošević and Dr. Ivan Šeparović, general and abdominal surgeons, presented “Clinical Procedures and Quality Use of Robotic Systems in Surgery.”

The main objectives of Sofmedica Croatia’s participation were to:

support education and knowledge exchange on the implementation of robotics in surgery,
emphasize the importance of training and preparedness of surgical teams for advanced technologies,
foster dialogue about the future of medical robotics in Croatia and its impact on improving surgical outcomes.

Through this initiative, Sofmedica Croatia continues its mission of bridging technology and medicine, supporting the medical community in advancing surgical innovation and digital transformation.
