Sofmedica Croatia participated in the 16th Congress of the Croatian Association of Digestive Surgery with international participation, held from May 22–25, 2025, in Opatija, Croatia.
During the congress, Sofmedica hosted a round table titled “Advanced Robotic Surgery – Experiences with the da Vinci System,” where leading general and abdominal surgeons shared their insights on the role of robotic surgery in digestive procedures.
Attendees also had the opportunity to take part in the Da Vinci Workshop, engaging in hands-on sessions and simulator-based exercises with the da Vinci robotic system by Intuitive Surgical.
The main objectives of participation were to:
- promote education and knowledge exchange in the field of robotic-assisted surgery,
- present the benefits of the da Vinci technology in enhancing surgical precision, safety, and efficiency,
- strengthen collaboration with the surgical community and encourage the integration of innovative solutions into clinical practice,
- highlight the importance of continuous professional development and partnerships between healthcare institutions and the medical technology industry.
Through these initiatives, Sofmedica Croatia continues to support the surgical community and promote cutting-edge technologies that raise the standards of modern medicine and improve patient outcomes.
