Following the performance and continuous evolution in the #RoboticSurgery field, the mentoring program continues with a complex course of robotic surgery in gynecological oncology, that took place on May 11-12, at #ISLEacademy #Bucharest and Euroclinic Hospital.

The professional community benefited from training sessions designed to deepen and expand the expertise of specialists in the field of #gynecological minimally invasive surgery, under the guidance of the course director, Prof. Dr. Elvira Bratila – Endomedicare Academy Center of Endometriosis, Bucharest, Romania.

The theme brought to the attention of the participants a current topic, with the following name: “The identification of the sentinel node in gynecological cancers”, the applicability, and the role that robotic technology has in the surgical treatment of gynecological cancers sphere.

The two days of training and courses brought topics of interest explained extensively by top specialists in the field.

Prof. Dr. Elvira Brătilă, the course director, and the speakers had several theoretical workshops on advanced robotic surgery and live transmissions from the operating room.

Furthermore, the events hosted renewed names in #DaVinciSurgery: Prof. Emeritus Jan Persson, Dr. Nikolaos Plevris, one of the most appreciated gynecologists in Greece along with Dr. Cătălin Corleucă, Specialist Obstetrics-Gynecology.
