With the help of the demo system of SOFMEDICA, the daVinci surgical robot was presented on Sunday, March 19, 2017 in Brasov, inside a shopping center. The demonstration was performed by the surgenons of St. Constantin Private Hospital with the support of the Clinical Specialists of SOFMEDICA.
Young and old, parents and children who visited the shopping center during the day, had the opportunity to understand the benefits of robotically assiste minimally invasive surgery, the medical conditions which can be treated using daVincy surgery. Whoever had the curiosity what operating with the system meant, was able to do so using the simulator provided by SOFMEDICA. The fascinated looks on the children’s faces made us think that the future surgeons may have been born in those very moments.
