Critical Care

Blood glucose & lactate monitoring

Truly continuous monitoring of blood glucose levels eliminates the risk for trend gaps and enables proactive glycemic control. Continuous lactate surveillance ensures visibility on lactate trends which apart from offering prognostic information will also aid the evaluation of ongoing therapy.

Hemodynamic Monitoring

Monitoring cardio-circulatory function is of major importance in all intensive care patients. Monitoring with standard parameters: ECG non-invasive blood pressure and pulse oxymetry provides insufficient information for deciding on the adequacy of treatments. Only advanced haemodynamic monitoring with invasive measurement of cardiac output and its determinants (preload, afterload, contractility) as well as the quantification of pulmonary oedema allows for early goal directed therapy.

Continuous Renal Replacement Therapy (CRRT)

The Aquarius System is designed to deliver both Continuous Renal Replacement Therapy (CRRT) and Therapeutic Plasma Exchange (TPE). It consists of blood and fluid pumps, user-friendly interface, scales and integrated safeguards.

The Aquarius System was intelligently designed to allow health care professionals to focus on the patient while delivering customised therapy. Aquarius was the innovative Total Fluid Loss Management, which eliminates fluid removal discrepancies and Aquarius RCA that allows for innovative anticoagulation delivery.
